Testing the SRI
In close interaction with various stakeholders, the study team has developed a provisional Smart Readiness Indicator assessment method and calculation scheme.
We kindly invite all interested stakeholders to engage in the public bèta testing of this approach.
The testing approach
To participate, please provide your details through this form: www.surveymonkey.com/r/SRItesting.
You will be provided with a guidance package and a calculation sheet (all in English) to perform an SRI assessment on one or more buildings of your choice. It is envisioned that an assessment will take you a few hours up to one day for a building, depending on the complexity of the building and the availability of information sources. The bèta testing will be carried out on a voluntary basis and will not require any specific prior knowledge on the SRI.
We will kindly ask you to fill out a survey after conducting the tests, and providing us with your experiences and suggestions along with some basic information on the building and the SRI scores obtained. The feedback of the case study tests will help the Commission Services and the technical study team to assess and improve the practical applicability of the SRI. We will not disclose details of individual SRI assessors and their results without prior consent.
- 16 September 2019: start of the public bèta testing
- 30 September 2019: optional: deadline for early testers, results might be included in the stakeholder meeting
- 15 November 2019: deadline for submitting the calculation sheet and survey
If you are interested in joining the SRI bèta testing, please sign up now by filling out this form. We also request some info on the affiliation of the testers, the country of residence, and the number and type of buildings which are planned to be assessed, in order to help the study team reach an adequate coverage of building types and locations across the EU. You will receive the information package within 1-2 business days.
We kindly ask you to provide your feedback by 15 November 2019 to allow it to be processed by the study team.
In view of the upcoming stakeholder meeting, taking place on 9 October, we would like to present preliminary results of the public testing to the wider stakeholder community. To this end, we are looking for early testers who are willing and able to provide their feedback by 30 September. If you are interested, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
